The most meaningful financial conversations rarely begin with numbers alone. They begin with people — their values, their families, the businesses they’ve built, and the legacy they hope to create through years of hard work and sacrifice.

That’s why we are excited to welcome Evan Faber to the Generosity Group team as Chief Business Officer for Generosity Business Exit Planning.

Evan brings a rare combination of operational insight, strategic leadership, and deeply human perspective to the work of helping founder-led businesses prepare for growth, transition, and long-term sustainability. His focus centers on helping business owners build companies that are not only successful today, but scalable, transferable, and resilient for the future — whether that future involves expansion, succession planning, leadership transition, or eventual sale.

In his role as Chief Business Officer, Evan will also be helping expand and strengthen the firm’s work in business transition readiness, value growth, and exit planning strategy. By the time this newsletter reaches clients, Evan will have earned his Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation, with his Certified Value Growth Advisor (CVGA) designation expected shortly thereafter.

These advanced certifications represent specialized training in helping business owners increase enterprise value, prepare for eventual transition, and reduce operational dependence on the founder — all while aligning business decisions with personal, financial, and legacy goals.

For many entrepreneurs, a business represents far more than a financial asset. It reflects years of risk, identity, relationships, and personal investment. Exit planning and value growth work are not simply about preparing for a future sale; they are about building healthier, more sustainable businesses that create greater freedom, opportunity, and long-term security along the way.

Preparing a business for transition readiness often requires more than financial planning alone. It requires thoughtful alignment between operations, leadership, culture, and long-term vision — areas where Evan’s experience and approach make him uniquely equipped to guide conversations with both clarity and care.

Throughout his career, Evan has worked across operations, revenue strategy, and organizational alignment in a variety of business environments. He is known for bringing calm, disciplined thinking to complex decisions — especially during seasons where business and personal priorities become closely intertwined. His ability to combine practical execution with thoughtful communication reflects the same client-centered philosophy that continues to define the Generosity Group family of companies.

Evan’s leadership extends beyond business advisory work as well. He previously served as Chair of the Downtown Boulder Partnership and as a board member of TGTHR, supporting efforts focused on community development and ending youth homelessness. His commitment to strengthening both organizations and communities aligns naturally with the mission and values that drive our team.

There is also a side of Evan that clients may quickly come to appreciate: his curiosity and perspective. Trained as a sommelier, Evan often describes business the same way he describes wine — layered, nuanced, and shaped by what is happening beneath the surface. While he jokes that he has not yet compared a balance sheet to a Bordeaux during a client meeting, the comparison speaks to the thoughtful way he approaches leadership, growth, and long-term value creation.

As the Generosity Group continues to grow, we remain intentional about building a team that helps clients navigate the full picture of wealth, business ownership, legacy, and life transition with confidence and clarity. Evan’s addition further strengthens our ability to serve business owners through some of the most important — and often deeply personal — decisions they will ever make.

We are thrilled to welcome Evan to the team and look forward to the insight, leadership, and perspective he will bring to our clients and community for years to come.
