For more than three decades, Michael Brady’s work—professionally and personally—has been guided by a simple belief: strong communities are built when people show up, listen deeply, and lead with integrity. His commitment to service spans local, national, and international efforts focused on restorative justice, leadership development, and long-term community impact.

Across every organization he serves, Michael is known for stepping into complex environments, bringing clarity, steadiness, and compassion—especially where healing, accountability, and long-term leadership development are required.

Global & Humanitarian Service

Michael has served in long-term leadership and facilitator roles supporting international healing, justice, and humanitarian initiatives—including work in Rwanda, Poland, Uganda, Ukraine, and Nicaragua. His service has focused on trauma-informed leadership, post-conflict reconciliation, and sustainable community development.

Organizations include Bearing Witness, BeadforLife, Prison Mindfulness Institute, Frontier Horizon, the Boulder Vinnytsia Sister City Committee.

Restorative Justice & Rehabilitation

For nearly a decade, Mike worked directly within the criminal justice system—facilitating restorative justice programs, mindfulness training, and victim-offender dialogue for both juveniles and adults. His work emphasized accountability, healing, and reintegration rather than punishment alone.

Organizations include Prison Dharma Network, Boulder County Probation, and Longmont Community Justice Partnership.

Rotary Leadership & Growth

Mike’s Rotary service includes leadership at the club, district, and zone levels, with a strong emphasis on leadership development, membership growth, and new-club formation.

Highlights include:

  • President of the Boulder Rotary Club during its 100th year

  • District leadership overseeing training for hundreds of club presidents

  • Ongoing support of clubs as Assistant District Governor

  • Advocacy for launching new Rotary clubs in underserved communities across Zone 26

During his presidency, the Boulder Rotary Club invested nearly $200,000 into the local community in one year.
