When I was in high school, I really (I repeat really) got into J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings books.
I have very fond memories of the three Lord of the Rings movies and when I was in New Zealand in 2007 my wife and I visited many of the sites where the movie was filmed.
Did I mention we’re total geeks?
Anyway, The Hobbit movie is being filmed now and will be released this coming December.
I’m sure I’ll be commenting on this all year long, so please bear with me.

I remember when I was a kid Tang commercials were always on TV, and for me and my siblings Tang was a treat (at other kids’ houses because mom wouldn’t let us have it).
I used to love it.
Come to find out, it’s still a $1 billion a year business but it’s almost all overseas. Frown.
