Mike Brady in the Wall Street Journal

There are few things as sweet as your first mention in the Wall Street Journal. March 10th was the day Mike Brady arrived in print! Since I was written up in the TheSuit Magazine, I’ve had a number of requests for interviews, expert quotes, and general articles about how I interact with clients. I provide distinction from others in my field in the relationships I build and how I focus on the “why”, vision, and goals. Activating your creative “right brain” is just as important as the logical “left brain”. I’ve been interviewed on this recently for a technical journal, ... Read More

Great Article on Generosity Wealth Management

TheSuit Magazine did a nice article about me, my company, and some of my beliefs in their most recent edition. I don’t often get interviewed, so it was a fun experience.  He got a few things wrong (I was not actually in Africa for 2 years straight but rather kept going back periodically over that 2 year time frame), but overall got it right. I love my clients, company, and am having a lot of fun while trying to make a difference.  Hopefully it shows. FULL ARTICLE – PDF Link to TheSuit Magazine Read More

What’s Your Philosophy?

In my video today, I discuss “what’s your philosophy?”. I don’t mean stock investment philosophy, I’m talking about what you value in your investments. Liquidity, transparency, marketability. These are core values of mine. But, others can have a different approach with different importance placed on certain criteria, and that’s okay! What works for you doesn’t have to work for them, and vice versa. For a full discussion of this, listen to my 4 minute video.   Read More

The Quarter in Review

The second quarter was a tough quarter, particularly at the end. Housing Prices Increase 4.7% Year Over Year

In October, 276 (75%) of the 366 markets showed monthly home value appreciation, and 228 (62%) of the 366 markets saw annual home value appreciation.  Among the top 30 metros, 29 experienced monthly home value appreciation and 26 saw annual increases.  This is a great sign, and fills me with optimism going forward. This is a good leading indicator for a sustained recovery. Click here for full Article Read More

I am taking new clients

Last quarter a client of mine asked my permission to refer his friend to me. He didn’t want to offend me by giving out my business card without my okay.
